A bit more about me...
At the heart of my practice is a deep sense of compassion, empathy and respect for each person I work with. I know first-hand how much courage it can take to ask for help.
Therapy changed my life.
There was a time when I felt lost and afraid, and therapy helped me find myself again. I grew in confidence, my self-esteem increased, and I experienced the difference it can make when someone truly listens, holds space for you and seeks to understand you. That experience sparked my love of therapy and ultimately led me to become a therapist myself.
As an integrative therapist, I can adapt the way we work together to suit you, your needs and your goals. I’m trained in three therapeutic approaches: Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA).
This one hour a week is for you!
You decide what you want to bring, and together we can explore whatever feels important to you. Sometimes that might mean making sense of the past, sometimes understanding what is happening for you now, and sometimes finding practical ways to move forward.
I believe meaningful change happens within the trusting relationship we build together. My role isn’t to judge you or tell you what to do. It’s to walk alongside you with kindness, understanding and curiosity as we work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I’m here to listen and understand, but also to gently and appropriately challenge you when it might help. I may ask the difficult questions and encourage you to explore the answers honestly. Through this process, I hope you’ll come to know yourself better, trust yourself more, develop greater self-awareness and confidence, and create the lasting change that matters to you.
I believe every person has the capacity for change, growth and healing when the right conditions are in place.
